This is a photo I did for a friend. She had just been capped at a traditional Nurse Capping Ceremony. This photo was perfect! I took the shot as she ran up to her dad and hugged him. It just captured the thought of "thank you dad! I made it!" I added some effects to make it look (what I think to be) a little more glowing adding to the idea that she was glowing with happiness in that she was one step closer to being a nurse.

Great job with this shot! It's an amazing thing to get into the PCC nursing program. I also am a nursing major at PCC. Who is that? I can't quite tell from the photo. I'm sure she loved this picture.

Hey Chris, good job on the photo and story! I love this stuff! It brings me alot of happiness to see people achieve things and to have that moment shared with friends and/or relatives. I get that when I see movies also. Happy endings or beginnings. Thanks for sharing! Allen

The carpet is why I knew it was in the MK too. Gotta love the carpet here at PCC! Its one of a kind...
