this is beautiful. the lighting could not be any better. the colors you've used are wonderful. i like the position you were in when you took this. being under it made the translucency come through. jen

Well done Cindy! The angle that you shot this at shows off the delicacy and the transparency of the petals. I like the single flower in all of it's glory, basking in the light. Was this a dogwood bloom? Whatever it is, it looks awesome and I am putting it in my favorite's folder on my hard drive so I can run it on my screensaver slideshow! Thank you for posting this beauty.
Thanks also for the warm words you left for me on ~soft pink~. I spotted that rose from the car and jumped out to shoot a picture before the sun disappeared from the flower completely.
