This was takin in Letchworth state park in NY State. i thought this was a very neat photo the way i framed it.. it is basically as how i shot it , I just darkened the image a little bit with photoshop as the origional was very bright..

Yea, cool shot. Have not seen a train in years here in my town. Most of the rail lines in this province are now walking trails.

This image has excellent clarity. I suppose that's an unusual thing to say about a train photo, but it's really sharp with good detail. I like the juxtaposition of the train (industrial) with the surroundings (natural). I like the way the train is sweeping around a bend, heaving into view. Yeah - good job.

Good clarity and strong colors, I like this head on shot while the cars snake off out of sight. The trees crowding in give it good balance

This was shot in New York? I didn't know the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) ran trains there. They mainly operate west of the Mississippi.

( ambidexter ) - yes this was takin in New York state, about an hour southEast of Buffalo .. I have no idea on what trains run through there , The location where this was taken is in a State park there, There is a Railroad brige behind where i took the photo that overlooks some of the Gourges that run through the park.. sorry took me so long to write back , havent logged into this in a very long time ..
