An example, I hope, of the use of shading to achieve a sense of volume, one aspect of Chiaroscuro. I purposely chose an image that lacked context and used a series of processes to reduce the skin texture allowing the shading alone to express the shape and volume. It also gave it an abstract and slightly strange look and feel.

You spent a lot of time but you made a really nice post processing work . I've tried a lot but i can't find out what is it. Any way, i loved the color tone.

really awesome photography, black and white has a real romantic feel, i see a human collar bone with the neck, to the right of the photo.
