There is a lot to like about this photo. The sun and cloud scape add plenty of interest to the sky. The large rocks in the foreground have lots of interesting light and shadow in their shapes and texture. The silhouette of the wall provides a firm anchor that holds it all together for me.

People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative. Dan Winters - Photographer.

A dark filter lens? This has a unique and pleasant quality as well. I like the rocks in the foreground, they blend in in an odd fluid way with the water washing up on shore. I was going to suggest a little more earth and a little less sky to get the thirds but I think the black bar across the top was throwing it off for me. Plus I'm just particularly fond of the odd quality you captured in the rocks and I'd like to see more of them :) nicely done...

I too want to see more of the rocks , so interesting with the sunlight on shining on them. You can not always know how things come out until you get home and see the photos I know. Still , you might crop just above the sun and see how it looks.I like the posts in this too , nice image.
