Will she enter into his world, laying and waiting for her behind the doorway, and become part of his "tree of knowledge?" Or. quite possibly, part of the on going family tree.
The tree, itself is full of branches and leaves. If she enters the doorway, there will be plenty of room for her.
The path to the tree is well lit. The light posts only go from the doorway to the tree. Once entered, this is the only path to follow.
If she is the "one," I hope her answer is yes.
I think I also detect the Big Dipper in the sky. I am not sure if it is the Dipper and what role in your composition it may play.
p.s. I also noticed that there is a single light above their heads in the doorway and only "couples" lights beyond. I think this was done on purpose to further illustrate the union of the two and is part of the family tree theme.
Yes, I was right, it's possible to create fantastic work with trees if you know how. And you know it, you don't need the tree of knowledge. LOL Great job!
Deep. Very clever, well thought out and executed. Impressive work. I love the foggy atmosphere. I am 'tempted' to vote for this one ;) Even if I am a girl lol!
Amd why are we..the girls...always the bad guys? Guys can be bad aswell!!
But anyways love your work here, the atmosphere, the lampposts, the tree and than the ground where it all stands on, it all match together to make it a perfect story that the guy is telling her that this is the last time that she sees him.
how can a girl be a bad guy? as to say females cannot be males, the tree of life is a story told from various writers, theologians and artists of the sort, although i am not sure which story you refer to involving women as the antagonist; your creation does lead me to inquire whether she will allow him to make his journey or go through the doors. i do enjoy the development, the lights like the ones ide see in a manhattan park, a mansion's or opera door and the iconic tree-- nicely done
how can one use letters, words or prose against its own institution? is it not to say that this accepted alphabet can portray intolerable thoughts against itself; the reflection of these words represent the meaning of ones mindless inquiry, generalizing became this text. . .read the marks behind a letter of assurance/ freedom is jailed within. . ." _ EaB
Adam was more to blame because he wasn't deceived. And you left out the snake ... I thought this was yours from the thumbnail. I like it even though I don't usually care for black and white. You've gotten something odd going on at the top and right side of the tree - like it's crumbling?
On the discussion thread for this topic, you were talking about having base models, so is this a tree that you previously had a base model for? How long did it take you to render? If you did have the base model, how long would it have taken you if you didn't?
And - I'm always a fan of the floating doorway, but here I think the story would connect that much more for me if there were a different scene showing through the open doorway. Leading out of one "place" and into the other. Floating in this plane, grounded in the next?
