Actually it was caught on some vegetation, but it reminded me of the music of Abbess Hildegard von Bingen. Comments welcome.

This is different, Chris...great skill used in capturing the delicate features of the feather.

I like the black and white presentation and the apparent drifting of the feather (excusing the fact you told us it was caught on vegetation).

But it is the drifting in space, or, on the breath of God, that captures our attention and our soul. I do not know if this is the music you were thinking of, but your work reminded me of it too; Hildegard of Bingen, Spiritus Sanctus . ~~ John

It is a beautiful image Chris. Great delicacy captured and the feather seems placed exactly in the right position.
I also enjoyed the music.

Led me to read a bit about Hildegard - what an extraordinary woman !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
