This picture is taken in The Netherlands, Province of Zeeland, Middelburg. It shows an ancient street (Kuyperspoort), built in the 14th Century, but the houses are still in use as private houses (watch the parked bicycles). To me it was a pity that I was not allowed to move those bicycles.

i actually think the cycles add to the overall image a lot. the poor exposure on the sky is the only detriment really in an otherwise interesting street scene.

I like the street a lot. It's like a look into the past. The bycicles are very much typicall for Holland. You do not need a better camera, if all your shots are like that.

Great picture, i like this old street a lot, your camera looks just fine to me. It is not so much the price you pay for a camera to get a good result, it only needs a good sharp lens. The rest can be done by enhancing the image on your pc. I am pleased that you did overcome your hessitance to start posting here. Well done, and hope to see more of your work comming.

This is a really awesome picture. I actually like the sky in this one. It looks as if Heaven is open and shinning down on this scene.

I've just finished your tour of Middleburg. It was beautiful and informative. For some reason this is my favorite. I think I get the feel we're walking around town and you're giving me actual tour. I would recommend anyone taking the tour of Middleburg. Such a great place.

Progress equals a trashed planet since mankind is too busy altering it. BTW find the classic definition of Caedes here. Enjoy yourself today because you don't know what tomorrow may bring. (o:
