This is a more detailed picture of the townhall of Veere. In my Caedes gallery are also two photographs of the townhall of Middelburg. When you compare those townhalls with each other, you will see a lot of similarities. People of Middelburg therefore are saying that Veere has made (between 1474 and 1517) a small copy of their townhall. 'Small' because the people of Veere had not that amount of money the people of Middelburg had.

The architecture certainly is beautiful - they certainly knew how to cheer up the people! I love the colours and decoration. As for a small copy? Small (er) and more beautiful!!
