At the left side of the image you see (partly) dunes of the Walcheren coast. The last storm has blown the yellow-white sand over the road. The sunshine in combination with the sand, causes this 'yellow-white ribbon' at this image.

nice perspective on this one Cornelius - looking right into the image! The sand makes a nice pattern leading your eye into the photograph.

reminds me of the south, with all this sand...
but sand is also in the north, only I've never been to Holland :(
