This part of the Flushing Sea Front has the name 'Boulevard de Ruyter'. At this 'boulevard' de 'Gevangentoren' (Prison Tower), built in the 16th century as part of Flushing's fortification, can be seen. People of Flushing call this tower 'De bomvrije toren' (the bomb free tower). Nowadays it's a restaurant.

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.

the lines are very good in this one Cornelius, leading your eye into the photograph! What a good idea to turn it into a restaurant - must be nice to sit and look over the sea while eating your dinner. Excellent colours and contrast too.
