I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

I think I'll have to explain. At the left there is a nursing home for elder people. Municipal people placed this boat full of flowers there to enjoy this people, so the flowers are not for sale.
Yes, well. I thought this beautiful flowery boat was in the middle of a
b i g lake. I love the way it's not! The fact that there isn't another color but green all around is even better, makes the boat just pop. LOVELY! More, more! ~Mary~
This has a wonderful dreamy quality thanks to the weeping willows on each side. I'd like to just float there for awhile in that bed of flowers. And that reminds me of a line from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night: "Away before me to sweet beds of flowers. Love thoughts lie rich when canopied with bowers" (Act 1, scene 1).
Several of my photos are available for purchase in larger format at Shutterpoint, and some are available in high quality framed prints at http://djholmes.imagekind.com/

I just had this in the VB, remembered yesterdays pic and had to come again. I still love the boat and here I also like the landscape around and that a little bit moody feeling. Good work again.
I'm glad you sent us the first image of the closeup of the boat. It give this a history and a remembrance as I'm looking at it. That is was put there for the purpose is was makes it all the more special. Lovely job on these two presentations.
I love this shot. It has a gentle look about it yet it’s rich in colour and detail. I have no idea why the flowers are placed there but they look good there.
Hoogst merkwaardig beeld ; dit doet mij denken aan de rivier Ganges in India met al die drijvende bloemstukken , gelukkig hier geen lugubere toestanden...
