A pilot from the Dutch pilot vessel 'Explorer' goes, in stormy conditions, on board LNS Zibens, a Latvian Navy Patrol Boat, in order to guide it to Flushing for a port call.

I'll say! That sea looks intense! I really like this capture, Cornelius. The pilings in the foreground add some special interest.

Bijzonder uitgekiende foto, met een focus op de 'actie'
een donkere rij palen op de voorgrond, om het geheel een
ietwat 'dramatisch' effect te geven, en op de achtergrond
een paar schepen om het compleet,en een perfecte compositie te geven!

Fantastic action shot Cornelius! What struck me most were the sailors lined up against the side of the boat! Such an interesting image. The clarity of the colours of the boat makes it stand out against the light colour of the sea and background! great shot my friend!

Even from the thumbnail I thought that was a naval craft. A very dramatic capture, C., with the whipping waves and flags and the proximity to the pier. Right into my favs and onto my desktop, thanks.
