A wonderful and expansive scene. This is such a lovely shoreline landscape, Cornelius. It seems to carry us forward across the ocean and the foreground is impressively interesting with the sheen and shine of the peeking sun's rays and the textures in the sand. The lone figure draws the eye as well. And again, your framing makes this into a lovely masterpiece.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Geweldig goede foto,
Paul

not sure about the colour of the frame Cornelius, but I love the photograph and the title - it is good to be lonesome sometimes - I really enjoy a walk on the beach or standing on a hill on my own and looking across beautiful natural views! a lovely shot my friend!

Schitterende posting, mooie Nederlandse luchten.

I can't tell if anyone picked up on the guy walking out there all by himself, but it looks like he's the last man on earth!!

Okay, lonesome, but that kind of lonesome I would love to be that often. Nobody there, just me and the sea. Very beautiful image.
