A wonderful and expansive scene. This is such a lovely shoreline landscape, Cornelius. It seems to carry us forward across the ocean and the foreground is impressively interesting with the sheen and shine of the peeking sun's rays and the textures in the sand. The lone figure draws the eye as well. And again, your framing makes this into a lovely masterpiece.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

(LOL)
Alle respect!

Something different from you marra!..A what a terrific scene this is!...The clever use of the frame adds a lot to the serenity of the whole work!..gorgeous lighting and a wonderful seascape vista!....
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Geweldig goede foto,
Paul
not sure about the colour of the frame Cornelius, but I love the photograph and the title - it is good to be lonesome sometimes - I really enjoy a walk on the beach or standing on a hill on my own and looking across beautiful natural views! a lovely shot my friend!

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
you know those postcards that say wish you were here, that you send home from your holidays, if this was my postcard i would say glad you are not here, as i would be enjoying being lonesome in this beautiful scene.
