What a colorful shoreline and you've captured it beautifully. I believe you're off and running with your latest series. I feel we will learn much about Lake of Veer and its surroundings. Looking forward. Nice post Cornelius.
really lovely Cornelius!!! ...and what makes this picture? It is the stick in the water at the front! .....that doesn't mean the rest is not good - it is beautiful with all its different tones and reflections in the water, but the broken stick is just the icing on the cake!

very pretty shot there cornelius, i like the foreground interest and i like that you can see into that lovely clear water also. A very pretty area to photograph thats for sure.
Several of my photos are available for purchase in larger format at Shutterpoint, and some are also available in high quality framed prints at http://djholmes.imagekind.com/
The growth along the shoreline has so much texture and color and the water appears to be shallow. The bent branch in the foreground adds a little note of interest too. Nicely perspected and detailed.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

It looks as if that "stick" as Patti puts it had a purpose at one time or another as it seems to have been propped up for some reason. Love the entire upload, as it is rich with colors and fine composition.
