The nowadays policy of Zeeland farmers is to allow admission, e.g. for a stroll or making captures as far as possible. The fence is only there to prevent that the (now not present) cows are walking away. Taken at the most nothern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

That’s a very inviting scene Cornelius. In this country most farmers don’t mind you hopping over the fence to take a photo but it’s not a right and it’s considered polite to ask first.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

Thats how we have it in the most parts of Austria too. But dont forget to great the farmer, when you meet him. Smile. Very good image. I love those fall colors and the old looking gate fits so perfect to the colors. An artist would draw this.

Great angles in here with the leaning gate and the edge of the field leading the eye right to the back of the image!

Excellent colors. I too love the contrast of the old gate with all the colors. Maybe it's not a contrast. Leaves will only have their colors once and then they'll resemble the dead hues of the gate. Excellent post Cornelius

Wonderful fall color and I love the perspective on the gate.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I like the naturalness of this, especially the bit of twine keeping th gate shut - a very nice rustic image, and it invites one to climb over the gate and venture further.
