"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Evidently you have the same sky there as we're having in the "Show Me" state. It sure is beautiful. What a great scene you have the sky looking upon. Colors are really good Cornelius. I believe water for you is like golf course for me. Trust me, the two don't mix. I know. Great photo.
the water is like glass Cornelius - so calm and peaceful. I love the simplicity of the photograph - it has a nice feeling to it and I also like the frame which compliments it perfectly!

Such a pleasant view. What I wonder is if this lake freezes over in winter and do they use it for winter sports. It is such a lovely place as I've seen from all your wonderful shots of it. This one is beautifully serene.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Lovely shot Cornelius, with perfect placement of the yacht and buoy. Unfortunately there's a touch of flare in the sky but the expansive, serene water helps counter this. Nice frame too!
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!

My dear friends! I hope you forgive me for not commenting and answering that much recently. Thats because of the weather situation here, that takes all my energy. I promise to do better as soon as there will be more sun again. Smile
