The color of the frame really goes well with the picture, Cornelius. I like the shadows of the trees, and then the beautiful lake. Very nice.

Good image Cornelius. Was it Skipper, Captain or Admiral? What was your title when in the service. I like the way it's framed and the road, is that a place to launch small boats, really invites you to enjoy a day at sea. Once again your love for the sea shines through. Very good Cornelius.

It looks like a lovely warm day when you took this image from the shadows. I like the 'peek' you are giving us of the wonderful blue sea beyond and I like the dense shadows on the ground in front of us.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
