I like the lines you have created in this picture. If you start at the bottom, your eyes take you on a tour along the shoreline, and then left into the village. You can't help but to start all over again and again. This is a wonderful shot, full of color. I actually start wondering what the town looks like, when my eyes reach that spot. Very nice, Cornelius.

Great photo Cornelius. The angle with the faraway look is perfect. I agree with Jim Bob about the shoreline being the guide for the eyes. Colors are great and framing is good. Nothing but accolades for this one my friend.

I have to agree with my friends. While viewing this photo, it's almost as if I am riding a boomarang...the shoreline takes me to the village which takes me to the water and back down to the start. Very, very well composed. An interesting and well-taken shot.

Another wonderful Dutch landscape. I really like that domb in the distance. Patti is so right about the diagonal lines drawing us in. A really good post.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Such a beautiful view along the shore. I like the lines here - also that of the nice way beside the water. Looks like an image of a perfect day.
