Ebb in a creek leading to the Lake of Veere. Taken at the most Eastern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. Captured just before the fog came in.
Nice reflections and colours Cornelius. The clump of vegetation in front anchors the image and gives a great sense of distance. It looks very cold and quite bleak. Framing suits to perfection :)
Well, this one almost had my vote as the best until I revisited the first one, and I think it's the blue sky and reflection that keep me loyal to that first beautiful upload.
This is good..don't get me wrong, but my preference still lies with your first upload.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
I agree with PJ. The first one is the best, but it's hard to decide when they are all so good. I see you weren't standing in the mud for this shot. I really like the diagonals and the contrasting colors stretching from the green grass, across the river, and into the sky. Pretty neat, Cornelius.
Toevallig ziet een vriendin deze post van jou, en ze vind het zo mooi,(mee eens hoor!) dat ze hem wel wil na schilderen!!!
Nou, een groter compliment kan ik jou niet geven , Cornelius!

The perspective is great as it is in most of your images. The bits of color along the shore are very attractive to the scene and your framing is also perfect. It looks like the water level is low in the creek at that time.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hoi, Cornelius! My vote is for this one. The first is a beautiful study of reflections and is almost festive by comparison, but this one is much moodier and richer in detail. Number two is a little too rich in detail (I prefer to not see the bottle littering the scene.)
All three are excellent works, but this one whispers a quiet tale in my ears.
Another excellent shot Cornelius. I bet it is beautiful at various stages of the fog rolling in as well. Your presentation of these photos is top notch my friend. :o)
This is my favorite. The light filtering through the trees and the reflections. I like the angle also. They were all excellent. I remembered a song titled Ebb Tide and I was going to provide a link but after watching the videos attached to the song I decided not to. Great photo Cornelius.
