Today I've started a new series called 'Oranjezon'. Oranjezon (Orange Sun) is the name for a nature preserve at the Northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. This nature preserve is a kind of buffer zone between the civilised country and the North Sea. One can walk there for hours without seeing anybody. Hope I can show you the coming time that nature there is very versatile. From rough forest to moody sands and dunes. All Images are taken in february 2008. Hope you'll enjoy this series.

From the looks of the first one and knowing your sharp eye for good targets, I can already say that the series will be great. The colors here are wonderful and "the path which takes you into the unknown" makes one immediately curious.

I know we are in for a treat if your past pictures are any indication. This one looks like it could be part of a ranch in western United States. Nice picture to start the series.

Imagine you are there
I like the pose here. The curve in the trail lends me to beieve I'm about to enter Nether Netherland. Love you narrative and the excitement you've created. You're a great guide Cornelius. Colors and composition are great.
