I like to dedicated this image to Els (Twinkel), Raj (Ramad) and other 'maritime lovers' as I think they might have, like me, some 'maritime blood' (= seawater, lol) in their veins as well. Twinkel posted two days ago an image of the Polish three mast tallship Dar Mlodziezy. In my comment I've said that the Russian three mast tallship Mir is a sistership (almost equal ship) of the Dar Mlodziezy. This image shows the Mir. Really hope that 'not maritime lovers' will enjoy this image too.

Many thanks Cornelius for the excellent photo of the Mir. I must admit that sometimes (very rarely) the longing comes over me but life at sea is no longer what it used to be.

Being a daughter and sister of mariners, I can appreciate this very much. You have captured this very well and I like the framing which compliments it very well.

Ahoy, matey. I love to look at ships like this, whether on sea, on land or in a bottle. LOL. They are so majestic looking. This is a wonderful picture, Cornelius. I love those sails. Nice colors in the water and sky.

Thought it was about time for you to go to sea. Singing Burl Ives tunes to yourself about the sea will do that to you. Your love of it shows with your photos. She struck a beautiful pose for you Cornelius. Have a great weekend my friend.

Of all the ships that sail the sea, the ones with sails are the ships for me.~~~ Amazing work of art, all those lovely sails. It appears they've caught the warming rays of the sun on the lovely turquoise water. I am assuming that knowing how to sail takes quite some skill. A lovely ship, Cornelius and a lovely post.
