'Oranjezon' (Orange Sun) is the name for a nature preserve at the Northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. This nature preserve is a kind of buffer zone between the civilised country and the North Sea. One can walk there for hours without seeing anybody. Nature there is very versatile. My intention is to show you in this series some different aspects of 'Oranjezon', from rough forest to moody sands and dunes. All images of this series are taken in february 2008. Hope you'll enjoy this series.

The best part of this photo is the reflection in the still water. Nice scene, Cornelius, bright and friendly considering it is a winter photo.

With those wonderful colors even the sleeping nature looks great. Most of all I like the blue water.

Hey Cornelius...I love the deep blue of the water in this. The reflections are wonderful. The diagonals make this a perfect composition. Great colors all the way around. I like that big tree too. I just noticed the growth under the water. It's so still and clear. Very nice.

Looks like my kind of place Cornelius - I love to walk alone away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Excellent composition on this one with the big tree reflecting into the blue water!
