This series, called 'Springtime', will show you some aspects of this wonderful time of year. Captured these rhododendron flowers a couple of days ago in a wood at the northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. Hope you'll enjoy this image.

They look great, these white rhododendrons. Sharp colours and good framing, Cornelius.

Beautiful flowers Cornelius and your country has such wonderful displays - you will have so many opportunities to show us. I might bring out the colour and detail slightly more on the centre flower, but then again your image might be intended to be soft and romantic! beautifully done though! :)

ps still not finding much time for commenting, as I am sorting out my house to sell it, but I am looking every day :)

Very pretty, Cornelius. With spring here now, I bet there will be foofiness abounding on the site. It nice to see all the different kinds of flowers and the ways in which they are presented. Good job with this one.

Answer to John's question above:
The image was captured at April 25 th, 2008 in the 'Ter Mantelinge' wood between Domburg and Oostkapelle. Think I was just in time as most rhododendron plants were over the top with blooming.
Think I have to come to Groningen now for any further rhododendron photographs, lol.
