In the narrative of my previous post I've said that I have the intention to show you in this series some different aspects of or around farmhouses in the Zeeland Countryside. Therefore this time not an image of a farmhouse but an image of a small old house related to this subject. In former days a lot of people had a job on a farm not only to work at the fields but, for also for other work, for instance, to take care for the (draught) horses as well as there wasn't in that time any kind of motorised mechanisation. It was a common use that for the not temporary workmen on the farm, a small house was built at the yard of the farmhouse. This image show you such a small house. Nowadays those houses have lost their original function and they are mostly in use now by the tourists wich are visiting Zeeland in the summertime as a second home. Hope you enjoy both this image and series.

This is really good and the narrative is just as good. I would like to visit your country C and stay in one of those home. I love the colorful shutters. I still can't get over the overall cleanliness of your country. Like I said before: "It is pride and it shows."

Nice post

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. Everyone has photographic memory; some just don't have the film. COME ON YOU GREENS, UP THE ARGYLE.....

This is another nice example you present us today. I like all the lovely details and it is nice to see, that people take care of those buildings so much. Great shot also.

Lovely shot of the "Workers' Home". Today they still have quarters for temporary workers in Germany but mostly these are container homes. Good presentation, Cornelius.

Dit even terzijde!. Alweer een zeer goede en leuke
opname, Cornelius!
maar daar grossier jij in...lol!

A beautiful worker's cottage Cornelius and a really interesting narrative. Most of the farm-workers' cottages in Britain are either holiday homes or second houses.

The perspective and proportions of all your images show incredible skill and artistry. This one is no exception. Charming! Thank you for the narrative.
