Biking Through 'Mantelinge'

This image is taken in the nature preserve 'Mantelinge' at the nothern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. The roads in this nature preserve are that small that it's not allowed to drive there with a car. The solution is that simple: a lot of people have a bike-carrier attatched to the backside of their car. They park the car at a parking lot at the beginning of the nature preserve and enjoy the nature preserve while biking through it as can be seen on this image. Hope you enjoy this image as well.

looks like a great place to cycle, very flat which is good on a bike :-) i like your point of shooting, the colours seem a little off though, maybe a little too much contrast here, mind you i wouldnt be trusting my work monitor too much lol.

Great scenery for a bike trail. I love that beautiful sky, too. Very nice, Cornelius.

This is what we'll call and "overwhelming" image! It's so lovely.. and everything about it is just really overwhelming.. the awsome sky.. the lovely green gras.. the angle you've use.. the framing.. we can just go on and on and on.. 10/10 definitely if we get it in the VB...

I too find the colors unnatural C. I don't know what it is. Maybe this is the effect you were looking for. The grass in the center seems to be ok but the rest has a sort of purple/lavendar tinge to it. Not the sky, it is beautiful. Great angle and composition.

Whatever the color hues...this image speaks directly to a cause I am intense about...and that is:

That in the USA we have few, if any, good bike paths.

As a matter of fact, since I live in a tourist area of the country, ppl expect to be able to bike here...NOT...just doesn't happen.

Well, please excuse me for using your post to vent, but I feel that every country in the world should have bike paths and sidewalks for ppl who like to walk.

I think we'd all be better off for it..

Thanks for this photo, my friend.
