The fog had just disappeared the very early morning when I captured this scene. It was very quiet as even the seagulls weren't present. My only company consisted of a couple, against the stream, swimming ducks. Captured this tiny tidal harbour at the north bank of the Western Scheldt, Zeeland, The Netherlands, not far from the place where the river flows into the sea. Hope you'll enjoy this image and thank you in advance for any comment.

Nice sharp details - One can see the tidal movement in the water. Good capture, Cornelius and well presented:

Bijzonder mooie sfeer opname, mede door de weinige
kleur, heeft het een effectvan een B & W opname!
Schitterend gedaan!

I can almost hear seagulls chirping. I like this very nice seaside scene. It has the feeling of fall, to me.

Great shot Mr. C.

Looks like quite a range in high and low tide. Needless to say, those boats aren't gettin out till the tide comes back in!! :-)

Nice photo showing the harbor at rest C. I think it prefers to be alive with the sunshine and all the people and colors. Ducks don't mind which. Good representation of a dull day at the dock. Good luck to you and yours.

Cornelius you made the best of difficult lighting conditions. The harbour is charming and i really like the patterns made by the exposed mud banks.
