Captured this image at Sept, 8th. It shows a small part of the cosy village Oostkapelle at the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. In the summertime the seaside resort Oostkapelle is visited by many tourists as it has a wonderful combination of nearby sea, beach, sanddunes, woods, and good restaurants. Everything so precise and tidy. The tree sets the depth and the arrow takes the eye straight into the scene. Good one.

Nice shot Cornelius, I just had a look at this place on Google Earth, looks like a place that could get flooded very quick, I know my Dad was up that way sometime in WW2.....

What a lovely village it is too. I don't know why, but it reminds me of some small towns in Canada. I love the flower filled divider in the roadway.

Oostkapelle is een fraai dorp,Cornelius.Netjes met goed onderhouden wegen en zo typisch Hollands.Wat me telkens weer opvalt is de goed georganiseerde urbanisatie in Nederland.Symmetrische woonkernen met daarrond prachtige open ruimten.Wat een schril contrast met de bouwanarchie in Vlaanderen.Mag ook wel eens gezegd worden.
