On November 13th, 2008 I've captured those 92 geese in the air above the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands on their way to an, to me, unknown destination. I was told that they are flying in these patterns in order to save energy as they are using the slibstream of their 'friends' this way. Hope you'll enjoy this image. Thank you in advance for any comment.

I will take your word there are 92 of the geese in the air C.
It makes me think of this song. They look magnificent against that blue sky.

Good health to you and yours C.

I am not counting them Cornelius! lol! ...amazing how they make this formation - looks like there are a few stragglers though! :) Well done at capturing them in focus - not easy with one bird never mind 92! :)

ps apologies for lack of comments - personal circumstances prevent me from participating at the site as much as I would like.

I'm glad to see you have the patience of Job. I never would be able to count them. I'd mess up, then have to start over again, and again, and again. I love that sky, and the geese just make it that more beautiful. Nice work, Cornelius.

I'm sorry Cornelius but you laid down the challenge by saying that there were 92 birds so as Chartered Accountant I had to count them myself and you are quite right, there are 92 birds! What an excellent shot, all in such great focus.

gelijkmatig verdelen
Mooie post!
