Captured this image of the beach and seafront of Flushing, Zeeland, The Netherlands at December 7th, 2008. While a lot of places/countries at the northern hemisphere are covered now with snow, people here are still enjoying the sunny beach and seafront by making for instance a stroll. As Flushing (In Dutch called 'Vlissingen') is the hometown of my Caedes-friend Els, known as 'Twinkel', I gave this image the title 'Twinkel Town' (rather inventive, isn't it, lol!).

Twinkel is very fortunate to live in such a wonderful place. i'd love to live near the water. the view shows me that the town has many contemporary buildings. it's a great angle. fine work, cornelius. the frame is perfect for this one.

Twinkel lives in a very beautiful town. I like how the diagonal & vertical lines of the beach fence lead the viewer into the scene. A nice crisp image ... superbly captured & composed.

What a great perspective and really nice clarity here, Cornelius. That is a really nice town, that Twinkel lives in. I guess those must be hotels so close to the shore. It attracts people even in the winter, it is so beautiful.

Terrific composition C, I love the sweeping curve of that bay and the radiating lines of the fence and buildings, almost like spokes in a wheel. The brown colour and texture of the sand is good too and the light's just right on the buildings. Great shot!
