In order to prevent that this series will become boring to you, I'll show you this time a wint'ry image of an ancient shipyard in Arnemuiden, Zeeland, the Netherlands. This centuries old shipyard is the home base for a foundation runned by only volunteers to reconstruct ancient Dutch wooden fishing boats. On this image you can see some already reconstructed boats of the 'Hoogaars' type. In wintertime, as you can see, the shipyard and boats are hibernating.

It is a very lovely photo,the view of the snow,houses and boats is nice,nice colors too.

Your shots are never boring, no matter what your subject is. This is a wonderful winter scene, and so colorful. I doubt if any part of Ohio is as colorful as Holland.

Your countrymen make everything so colorful that when you have a bit of snow and hoar frost it just jumps to like. You capture it very well C. Great post.

Lovely glow! The buildings and shipyard really stand out against the almost uniform blue tinted winter white. Beautiful.

No fear of them getting boring Cornelius. I live somewhere it snows lightly once every ten years and the water NEVER freezes over, so seeing a shipyard frozen is magical to me. Things we take for granted because we see them all the time are wondrous and magical to others who live in very different parts of the world. Keep 'em coming, you're making me want to visit the Netherlands in winter. :)
