Although in this 'Winter In Zeeland 2009' series only wint'ry images are showed, I try to prevent posting rather similar ones. This image shows a farmhouse at the eastern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands, somewhat hidden in a landscape with hoar frosted or rime-coated trees.

Hope you'll enjoy this image. Thank you in advance for any comment.

be nice to have a stroll along that track!...A lovely winter scene, but I would like to be there when that snow fell from those trees!...

Was there a wee bit of almost direct sunlight on this shot? The whites have such a brightness and liveliness to them. Lovely.

Looks like you made the best of those few days everything was covered in snow and ice. This is a fantastic series and I love them all.

It IS beautiful. I especially enjoy the lighting and sky. Lovely composition, with the lines of the trees, roadways, and even the ditch.

That's pretty neat the way all the trees on the left lean over the road. I also like the line of bushes all covered with the heavy frost. Excellent work again, Cornelius.

In ´Winter In Zeeland 2009 (09)´, what is a brilliant post too, you have the same depth that makes the image great. I had, and so did Tamara, 09 in the VB and hope to get this one too. Prachtwerk.. Mich

This is fantastic C. You never did tell me which side of the road you drive on in your country. I love the wintry scene. The hoar frost is stunning. Looks like you were standing in the ditch when you took this. Was this a handheld shot?

Good health to you and yours.

Answer to Tick's questions:
-In my country the cars are driving at the same side of the road as in the USA:
-Image is taken on January 9th, 2009 in RAW (NEF) with a Nikon D80 body, without the use of a tripod, but with a 18-200 Nikkor lens in the VR mode and with the use of a circular polarisation fliter. Edited in PS, FL: 18mm, WB: overcast, ISO 200, Aperture f 11.0, shutter speed 1/80.
