Perhaps Dutch people have some strange habbits. Don't mean however that they are eating fresh herring (in Dutch called 'maatjes' or 'Hollandse Nieuwe') and smoked eel, but that they're giving even their tulips and traditional windmills (TWM) a name. This TWM was given the name 'The Cow'. Please don't ask me why, as I can't give you any reasonable explanation. Please accept the Dutch people with their strange (?) habbits as they are, and think you'll find out that they're not that bad and/or mad. Can't give you however no guarantee for that, lol.
Captured 'The Cow' on February 19th, 2009. Hope you'll like this post. Thank you in advance for any comment.
PS: If you're watching this image at full screen size, please watch the top of the mast at the rear side of the mill its roof. You're right! A cow indeed.

That's the best looking cow I have ever seen, although probably not as tasty. LOL. Wonderful picture. I love the sky with the streamers. Great colors in the foreground, also. My compliments, Cornelius.

COW (Catcher Of Wind). That's my take on the Windmill. I think naming them is very cool. I name everything. Evidently there is some dutch in my gene pool. Great shot C. Love the angle.

If the dutch peaople have strange habbits, the swedish people have it too. We also eat "matjes" (with one a) and smoked eel :-)We also enjoy dutch tulips here a lot, with there names, My husband buys me some every friday. This is a wonderful shot again Cornelius! I love the cow and windmills are always wonderful to look at. Great work!
