The Dutch pilot vessel Mirfak was captured on April 23th, 2009 in the locks of Flushing, Zeeland, The Netherlands, on its way to its station off shore.

Edit 1, because of the comment of Raj (Ramad): the Mirfak will anchor indeed at the Steenbank position on the North Sea to keep station there for a week or two, just a couple of miles west of the peninsula of Walcheren.
Edit 2, because of the comment of Jen (Jeenie11): don't worry, Holland is no Somalia, so not captured by pirates, but photographed by me, lol!

I remember the "Mirfak" Cornelius. Nice to see it again here. Wasn't she stationed at Steenbank? Nice clear shot of the good pilot vessel.

Spring is finally on it's way here in Northern Ontario

I am so glad you (with the help of Jen) cleared that up. As for the photo, a marvelous shot. You've "captured" her perfectly - lighting and distance - to give her the distinction she deserves. Framing is nice also.
