It's already in its name. The islands and peninsulas of the province of Zeeland, The Netherlands are surrounded by sea or artificial lakes (former sea). One of them is the Lake of Veere, a 22 kilometres long artificial lagoon, situtated between the peninsula's of North- and South-Beveland and Walcheren. For further information please check-out this link. This image is taken near the little town of Veere.
