This image shows you some Dutch (Zeeland) old wooden fishing boats moored at a jetty in a canal near the Lake of Veere. These boats were built at the end of the 19th century, begin 20th century (1899-1902) and are recently reconstructed to keep them for historical reasons (as a kind of 'living' monument).

Hope you like this image. Thank you in advance for your comment.

As in most of your photos here also what strikes me at first is the extremely good clarity, then come of course the boats. A wonderful image Cornelius with that sky and the blue water.

Cornelius, You have a winning image with this one. Perfect composition, and the clarity is excellent. The old wooden boats are beautiful, and I'm glad they have restored them.

A fine capture of the old boats, Cornelius. Excellent colour and clarity in this beautiful scene. I wish they still built boats like that. I don't care much for fiberglass and plastic.
Fine post, Saved

Hey Mr C...the first thing that I loved of course were the gorgeously crafted boats, but then I liked how you got the curve in there,,,,the river and the boats. Very nice. I also love the dashes of white here and there and with the clouds. You've for sure put together a most lovely scene. Verena
