Captured this Zeeland farmer's wife in traditional clothes in Middelburg, Zeeland, the Netherlands.
Of course she's wearing these clothes only at special (folklore/traditional) events.
The image shows her, taking a break while sitting in a with flowers decorated gig at the historical 'Abbey Place', during the yearly 'ringrijden' competition in Middelburg.

at first i thought it was just a normal day with a lady in her normal clothes. i thought of how differently she dresses than the people here in arizona. of course, that bubble burst when i read your comment. it is a delightful look at your tradition. thanks for this one.
