Gave my wife a 'nice' surprise (please notice the inverted comma's), as she got the flu from me. My reward was that I have to take care for her now and have to do some housekeeping. Therefore I couldn't kept my promise to resume commenting, so I will do it as soon as the situation allows it.

Hope you'll like this image, taken on the southern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. Thank you in advance for your comment.

WIth regards, Evert

Good to know that you have at least recovered before your wife got the flu, Cornelius. Wonderful reflection in the still water and the trees look so colouful and sharp.

It's a good thing you both didn't have it at the same time, or nothing would get done around your house. I hope your wife feels better soon. Excellent fall colors in this beauty, Mr. C. Nice.

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.
