I captured this image on a lower tract of land which was sea until 1961. It's a polder now. I've explained it before, but for the people who've missed this explanation I'll repeat it again: A polder is a low-lying (mostly below sea-level) tract of land, reclaimed from the sea, and enclosed by embankments known as dikes. You can see another (older) polder behind the dike at the background of this image as well. This image was captured on the western part of the peninsula South-Beveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands.
