I do have the same opinion as you on this Sea. The tones of your winters shots have really been dazzling. This has such a unique glow to it. The land is to be admired and respected. This shot does that.
Good health to you and yours.

Mr C - This has the earthy colors along with the frost that give the photo a 'down home' tone. The sky, with your post-photo treatment picks up this tone as well. Beautifully done! Thad

...So the word 'polder' means field?...

Reading Owd Bob's comment above, like to say that I've explained on former occasions what a 'polder' is, but for the people who've missed this explanation, I'll repeat it again:
A polder is a low-lying (mostly below sea-level) tract of land, reclaimed from the sea, and enclosed by embankments known as dikes.

This scene shows such a tract of land below sea-level. The dikes can't be seen however, because of the foggy condtitions and because they are pretty far away from where I captured this image.

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.
