Ron, aka Tick (0930_23) and Thad (Luckyshot) did me a request on January 15th, 2010.
So I opened one of my shoe boxes to fulfil the requests of T&T (lol). I will post some (3) images of ice skating people, taken on January 3rd, 2009 on the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

My wife and I were looking at this a couple of days ago and honestly, I thought I had commented on it already. I see that I did not:) A wonderful fun piece Cornelius. Having grown up in the snow and cold I can appreciate this wonder. You have captured a wintry scene with all it's beauty and promise here. What's interesting is that the edges of the stream/canal look like there not frozen because they haven't been skated on and only the center part looks frozen and that is so cool!! Thanks. BB

This a beauty of people enjoying a sunny cold winter day, I love the cool color ice with the bright people skating along it and the yellows, browns and greens along their path down the river. In my heart I honestly wish I could join in all this fun

Nobody skates on canals here Cornelius as the Health and Safety "Police" won't let them. I learnt to skate when as a 9 year old we moved to Scotland and each winter a lake near our house froze over. Another lovely image.
