A cold north wind was blowing on the beach, the day I captured this image. Mother and sister found shelter in a small tent. Little sister however didn't notice the cold wind, as she was having great fun with her kite.

Hope you'll like this image. Thank you in advance for your comment.

Cornelius - Having the beach to themselves, it must have been chilly. The fun of flying the kite seems evident in the young girl. A nice beach scene. Thad

Beautiful image Cornelius! The colours of the child's clothes and the kite stand out in all their brightness against the sand and sky.

That looks like the ideal place to fly a kite. (Remembering my tear filled eyes as I saw mine stuck in a tree.) LOL. Beautiful image, Mr. C.

A beautiful beach scene! At least there is no snow and ice there, as is still hanging on here.

A day at the beach is better then any day at work Sea. A nice shot and the two seeking shelter tells you a lot about the scene. good post.
Good health to you and yours.

I like it very much. The wind and the kite add a wonderful compliment to the beach scene. Additionally the story represented by the two allowing the child to enjoy the day. Very nice!
