My Caedes-friend Els (Twinkel) and me are both living on the wonderful peninsula of Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. Think therefore you can find in our galleries some similarities. I've decided to dedicate this image to her as she has inspired me to go to the spot where she had captured her CANAL 2 IMAGE.

Think that luck was with me, as the buttercups were in full bloom when I arrived there.

PS: To avoid the risk to be called a mimic, Els was informed by me by PM that I should do so, and she replyed that, to her, it wasn't any problem.

This is a very nice image Cornelius. The shades and sunlight, the blue water and the blue sky all together give one a feeling of peace just looking at it.

Mr C - Both Els and you have posted so many beautiful photos - it is clear that there is a lot to see on the peninsula. The birch trees and buttercups along the canal path make a very pretty scene. Thad

Twinks is such a cool "Buttercup" herself Sea. I think it is cool you both can take similar shots and put your own personal stamp on them. I like them both. No way I am choosing one over the other. :)
