The provincial government of Zeeland, The Netherlands, decided a couple of years ago to pay Zeeland farmers some subsidy for sowing flowers-seeds along the borders of their fields. So, a lot of fields in Zeeland are surrounded by flowers in the summertime, in order to make Zeeland even more attractive to tourists than it already is.

My title says 'summer wildflowers', because they grow in open fields, but on close examination, this is not correct as this kind of flowers can be found in gardens and parks as well.

I always look forward to your summer wildflowers Sea. They are so beautiful and it shows the pride of your country. The rest of the scene is so relaxing. It's like drinking a glass of warm milk to help you sleep.
