Very nice photo of the swan,Cornelius, the quality is very good as well as the lighting, saved.I also saw a swan as well as geese at a local pond before yesterday.
I wouldn't want to cross him Sea. He looks like he could take care of himself and the missus.
He seems deep in thought. Most likely reflecting on his wife and how to provide for her and keep her safe. It's what we do.
Good health to you and yours.
A grand photo. I like the qualities that you caught in the water and the super light on the subject. It can be very difficult to capture these swans without getting the overexposure glare. You nailed this one.

Cornelius - The swan is beautiful. However, I am intrigued by the manner in which you captured the dark water in which the paddling feet are seen as well as subtle waves. Kudos! Thad
Lovely detail on the feathers, great comp and balance and enough water surface detail to let the eye know the bird isn't floating on air. The slightly sepia light/tones is also a nice twist on the traditional white swan shot.
