Cornelius - That is a might gate to protect the queen annes lace! I wonder what the field was used for in an earlier time - farming an animal herd perhaps. You have struck gold again with the composition, color and clarity of this photo. Bravo! Thad

i like the gate very much. great texture. the pond in the background takes me through the gate so i can see it better. the queen ann's lace might hold me back. the trees and the sky add nicely to the top of the photo. a beautiful shot.

Wow! This one is superb! It has everything~the wooden textured gate is the perfect entry to this capture! the bit of water in the distance gives depth and the field and sky just pull us in! Could get lost in this lovely scene! :)Ami
