First of all, thank you very much for exif info. High level technical quality and beautiful composition. This should be indoor shot. Otherwise 4 seconds of exposure would cause some move and blurr. Well done my friend.

Cameras are like people--sometimes they lose focus.
Reading some comments above, like to make clear that I posess this camera and lens already for some time. They were given to me by my (grand)children as a birthday present. That's also the reason that they are treated very careful by me (I'm using them not that much).

Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.
The center of that bloom is awesome and I would have filled the entire picture frame with just that.

The clarity, detail and sharpness of this are exquisite Mr C. Orchids have that special quality of texture and density in real life and your shot has captured that amazingly well. The top edge does seem to cramp those top petals a wee bit and the fully centred composition limits the visual dynamism a bit.
