Cornelius - Such a beautiful tree and the hens seem oblivious to it. lol With the late morning sun, the tree's shadows on the grass and sunlit branch tops make an excellent image. A very fine capture my friend. Thad
Wonderful looking spring tree taken masterfully. Great composition, both in colors and shapes. Even the shadow of tree is very nice in composition. Great work again, my friend.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . I see a couple of hens coming to greet you, Mr. C. They probably wanted to be in the picture, but a little closer up. LOL. Beautiful shot of that gorgeous tree. Well done.
Groet Michel

Answer to Momma's question above: A polder is a low-lying (mostly below sea-level) tract of land, reclaimed from the sea, and enclosed by embankments known as dikes. You can see the dike at the background while the lower tract of land is on the foreground of this image.
great capture of this beauty my friend!..
