Hope you'll like this image. Thank you in advance for your comment

Edit: Richie (Biffobear) has sent me this PM: Hello Cornelius,Spring Details 08 (Fuchsia)..Just wondering why you chose f/32 ISO 3200...It's seems you've upped your ISO to compensate for your narrow aperture .. F/8 ISO 200 might have been better..I would use f/32 on a waterall with a slow shutter speed of 1/8th sec with an ND filter letting in as little light as possible ...Narrow apertures like f/32 cause the image to get chromatic abberations amongst other things..Plants and macro shots work best between f/8-f/11,Control the exposure with your shutter speed..I hope you don't mind me pointing that out..Richie.

I have Richie answered by PM as well and have told him that one is never too old to learn, so his advice is appreciated very much by me. That's the reason too why I have added his useful information to this narrative. Have however to be honest as well: as you can see by my previous macro posts, I prefer to capture with shutter priority. After I had downloaded this image on my computer and had deleted it from my camera, I saw by watching the exif information, that something had gone wrong, because the picture was, against my will, taken with aperture priority (problably I had turned by accident the exposure selection knob). The photo however was very acceptable for me, the more the weather now is less fine and I don't have the opportunity now to take another one.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Well, I say hey if you can get a great photo and the three amigos of ISO, Av and Tv are in sync, it doesn't matter. The dof will change, but it depends on what you desire the final image to look like. I always use less than f5.6 or so for my macro shots because it blurs the background and I use anywhere from f11 to f22 for landscapes. It is interesting to see what other folks do. Some of your result is also a function of the type of lens you are using too. I'd love to have all IS or VR lenses as I have trouble holding the camera steady sometimes and hate to use a tripod.
Such a lovely accident here, if that is what happened, Cornelius. The fushias are truly beautiful.

Richie has helped me, too. I am not too old to learn, either. This is beautiful, Mr. C. If I were to use 3200 ISO, the picture would be so noisy it would wake the dead! LOL.

I think it's a terrific shot. The details are exceptional. As for the camera lesson, I hate to say it but it's a bit over my head.

Amazingly beautiful colors and composition. I agree with Richie about settings. But sometimes higher ISO values needed. I'm so happy to see exif info causes great lessons. Still waiting for exif info for all (possible) photos to be made visible.

Beautiful fuchsia's & I love the vibrant red which can be difficult to capture depending on the lighting conditions. I'd say with the settings you use worked out well for this image, but as Richie mentioned I'd use an f-number of F/8-F/11 at an ISO of 200 for flowers unless the lighting conditions are poor I tweek the settings until I get desirable results. That Nikkor lens does a magnificent job of bringing out the detail too & I like the composition of the captured image. Thanks much for the EXIF data. Very well done, Cornelius.
