My Caedes-friend Rachel (Homtail) said in her comment on my first post of this small series: "This is an extremely difficult landscape to photograph! I remember when I went to the Norfolk Broads it was so incredibly difficult to get a decent shot of the landscape because it was so flat." I think she may be right. No reason for me however to give it not another try. Therefore I have tried to select, as far as possible, the elements of this composition with care (so, it has cost me some time to find the proper spot, lol).

Hope that I have succeeded to capture a, for you possibly, rather dull landscape in an interesting way and that you'll like it. Thanks in advance for your comment.

Yes, you have definitely succeeded in producing an image with excellent clarity, very good depth of field and a great looking composition, Cornelius.

Spot-On perfectly!

This is great pal...if there was a composition for flat land scenery...then this would be a winner

Mr. C. You did this scene proud, well composed as per usual, and a very pleasing scene, I like you how you composed it with the trees, very nice. ♥♥tigs=^..^=

(Do you want me to clone in some of the Alps?) LOL. I don't think you could have composed this better, Mr. C. The angle, and that gap in the trees are perfectly positioned. You just naturally have the eye for composition.

I think you selected quite well, Cornelius. You put those trees into the compostion at well placed spots to draw our interest to the flat land beyond. The road helps pull it all together. Another beautiful shot from you.

Cornelius - The land may be flat, but, you utilize the tree lines, roads and buildings to advantage in offering a fine multi-dimensional image. This post is no exception to that. I like the depth of the image. Thad

I agree with Rachel. You 've used the natural framing to get more depth and in combination with your wonderful colours and details... an almost 3D is the result. So it feels like the viewer is in this place... and walks with you. Fraaie foto, great work! Mich

Cornelius, I don't find anything dull about this scene ... the earth tones of the flat land contrast so nicely with the blue sky. Add in the greens & a bit of yellow plus the road & one has a very pleasing image. The shadow play across the road caught my eye too. Wonderful work, my friend.

Great lead in with the road Sea. Wonderful framing to show off the scenery. I had never given a thought to how hard flat land would be to photograph. You do it so effortlessly and beautifully.
Good health to you and yours.
